Engine installing instruction
Installing a car engine is a complex task that requires a high level of expertise and knowledge. It is typically performed by trained mechanics in a professional automotive shop. However, I can provide you with a general overview of the steps involved in installing a car engine for informational purposes. Please note that this is a simplified guide, and it's crucial to consult the specific service manual for your vehicle and seek professional assistance if you're not experienced in automotive repairs.
Important: Before starting any engine installation, ensure that you have the appropriate tools, safety equipment, and a well-ventilated workspace. Also, disconnect the vehicle's battery to prevent electrical hazards.
Step 1: Prepare Our Engine. 1.1 Inspect Engine: Examine our engine for any damage or missing components.
1.2. Transfer Parts: Transfer necessary components from the old engine to the new one, such as the intake manifold, exhaust manifold, and accessories. If that is required.
1.3. Install New Gaskets and Seals: Replace gaskets and seals as needed, including the oil pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, and any other applicable seals.
1.4 Install the new timing chain or belt depending of engine type, set the timing points, install the new oil cooler
1.5. Fill Fluids: Fill the engine with new oil, coolant, and any other required fluids.
Step 2: Test and Verify 2.1 Crank engine on the starter, but do not fire it up, to fill new oil into the oil system, to make sure that all parts will be lubricated during the first engine start.
2.2 Start the Engine: Start the engine and check for any abnormal noises, leaks, or warning lights on the dashboard.
2.3. Perform Test Drive: Take the vehicle for a short test drive to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
Step 3: Final Checks 3.1. Recheck Fluid Levels: Recheck the engine oil and coolant levels and top off as needed.
3.2. Inspect for Leaks: Look for any signs of fluid leaks under the vehicle.
3.3. Conduct a Final Inspection: Double-check all connections, belts, and hoses to ensure everything is secure.
Step 4: Invoices 4.1. Need to save all invoices of engine installation, and engine parts during all warranty period.
Step 5: Documentation 5.1. Need to have a video proof of steps: 2.1 and 2.2. Those videos should be kept during all warranty period, in case of any fault or problems with our engine
Note: Without documents of 4.1, 5,1 our warranty is not valid.
Warranty and return policy
Revu Motors thoroughly inspects all engines with the help of qualified mechanics before selling them
Used engines come with a limited warranty of 10 months. The warranty is valid only if the engine is installed, handled, and maintained as per the installation instructions
At Revu Motors, we select engines based on the customer's car VIN code, and hence take full responsibility if the engine doesn't fit the customer's vehicle. In such an unlikely event, customers are eligible for a refund (including shipping fees), or we can replace the engine based on mutual agreement
Customers are prohibited from disassembling the engine without written consent from the seller
Note:
Customers who only provide the engine code are solely responsible for ensuring the proper fitment of the engine and vehicle
If a customer wants to return the engine, they can do so within 7 days of delivery. In this case, the customer will receive a full refund for the engine but must cover the shipping costs. If the engine is returned without any valid reason, an order handling fee of 21% of the order value will be charged.
When a customer purchases an engine from Revu Motors, they fully agree to the warranty conditions and acknowledge the specified engine installation rules. The warranty service won't apply if these rules aren't followed. All complaints with proper evidence should be sent to info@revumotors.com
